Design Process

Our design process is streamlined and fluid. Once you engage with us, you’ll move through the following steps.

Initial review of the project/problem.

Step 2

We develop a solution that solves the problem and aesthetically pleases.

Step 3

With our knowledge of SMACNA & manufacturing requirements, we create CAD/Shop drawings and provide them to our computer brake.

All our bids include estimates for design, fabrication, and installation services.

Shop Fabrication Process/Value Engineering

We often receive inquiries for shop fabrication which is essentially the same as value engineering. When we work with owners and general contractors, we understand that they want the transition from waterproofing and roofing with metal to be seamless.

SMACNA Standards

SMACNA – Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association – is the standard for sheet metal fabrication. From profiles to details, this set of industry-leading standards acts as guidelines in the design process, and our shop is capable of making every profile.

ES-1 Certified

Design It, Install It, And Stand Behind It

ES-1 Certification is the highest industry standard of wind resistance for metal systems used to secure the metal to the roofing systems or building components. MetalTek of Georgia is ES-1 certified, our fabrications always meet or exceed that standard. You can be sure that our metal components won’t fail during a storm, compromising your building’s components.
